About Göksel Savaş
I have been a licensed professional tour guide in both Japanese and English since 2008, with 17 years of experience in the field. Before becoming a guide, I gained hands-on experience across the tourism industry, including work in aviation and hospitality.
From 2009 to 2020, I worked mainly as a Japanese-speaking guide, leading tours across all of Turkey, covering both the Western and Eastern Anatolia routes with Dorak Holding and guiding many Japanese travelers.
Since 2020, I have specialized in English-language tours, guiding Istanbul city experiences primarily for American and international travelers. Partnering with top-tier local operators, I offer customized hotel-pickup tours, full-day city itineraries, and premium shore excursions.
To further deepen my expertise, I have dedicated myself to independent study of Ottoman and Byzantine history.
Licensed in three languages—Turkish, Japanese, and English—with over 17 years of field experience, I take great pride in sharing Turkey's rich history and culture with visitors from around the world.
